Writing is one thing, the rest is a mystery.

When I first began to write, it was on a whim. I enjoyed telling stories. I even enjoyed giving someone a subject or character to begin with and they gave me a little more information to run with. I never thought seriously about becoming a writer and then one day I picked up a pen and started scribbling.

It was late in October of 2019. I had thoughts, themes and generalities. Then there were names, descriptions of places and events that all began to stir up my creative juices. Most of this wouldn’t make sense to anyone else.

At this point, I began to do some research into some of the creating I had begun and before I knew it, I was on my laptop trying to make further sense of it all. By this time, my wife became curious and asked what I was up to. I responded with “I guess I’m writing a book”. That statement probably surprised me as much as it did her.

More details will come later, but for now I must say how difficult it is for most first time authors unless they somehow find trustworthy sources to guide them in the early stages of their writing journey. I am not one of those fortunate people.

I am proud of what I have written and published. I am especially grateful for my success with “Johnny’s World”. The final version is one book titled Johnny’s World: The Series in One. My success might have come easier if I knew more about the process and had taken the correct path toward publishing and marketing.

I am presently working on finalizing a “proper” website and hope to be interviewed soon by a nationally know interviewer with C.B.S. Radio. Stay tuned for more exciting information from J.W.CreativeWriter.
